More than the coaster itself (an SDC Galaxi), what makes Skyways interesting is its location right on the edge of Clarence Pier facing the Isle of Wight. There are some great views of the passing shipping, which makes the slow lift hill less laborious. Following that are a couple of steeps drops giving a surprisingly large amount of airtime, enhanced by the loose lapbar. Two spiralling helixes allow the train to pick up a lot of speed, especially on the first one. Best of all, very comfy padded seats!
