CWOA Opening Day

A restricted parking day at Uni meant I had to work at home today, giving me the opportunity to pop into Chessington for a couple of hours this morning at the start of the 2005 season.

In summary then, a very quiet start to the season, with lots of re-riding opportunities. Mystic East looks horrible without the rocks surrounding the area - please, please let them return. I was only there in the morning, so I don't know whether Dragon Falls ever opened, but the park generally didn't seem quite ready to open. Many things are as yet unfinished, including Peeking Heights and the new children's zoo. Gardeners were strongly in evidence planting things all over the place. Fingers crossed everything is ready in time for Easter next week.
